How can a customer save money before you start to work?
  • First, ensure that your books are in order and readily available for inspection at any time, not just for our practice but also for the Australian Taxation Office. These includes bank statements, receipts, diary’s.
  • Secondly, all cash receipts and tax invoices should be summarised and GST applicable in the transactions should be clearly shown.
  • Thirdly, have copies of prior year income tax returns handy for any comparative information which may be required such as brought forward depreciation, balance sheets, profit & loss, bank reconciliations, schedules and workings, etc.

What experience, skills, qualifications or training do you have to make you the right person for the job?

We are registered tax agents from Australian Taxation Office, Certified Practising Accountants (CPA Australia), have more than 10 years’ work experience in tax and accounting profession, and attend regular training to keep up to date all through the year so our knowledge is up to date.

Is there a particular aspect of your trade or industry that you should specialise in?

We specialise in doing tax returns for individuals and small businesses such as Sole Traders, Partnerships, Trusts and Companies and Self-managed Super Funds. We provide tax structuring and planning to protect your assets and minimise your tax. Our clients are Doctors, dentists, builders, retailers and wholesalers. We also provide bookkeeping services, GST, BAS preparation, PAYG withholding summary, profit & Loss, balance sheet and cash flow forecasts.

How do you normally charge for service?

Fixed fees. Payment is required on completion of work. We charge $80-$150 for most individual returns.

The fees will be charged depending on number of factors including:

  • Organisation of records – better records, the less time spent on sorting through them.
  • Turnover of business: the higher turnover the more transaction they are and the more work involved.
  • The complexity of transactions such as foreign exchange, capital gain.

We do not pay rent; our overheads are low so that we can pass it to customers.

Are there any special offers would you like to offer to customers?

Business clients will received tax planning valued at up to $550. We offer a FREE personal tax return for any business company or trust tax return. We offer $650 for any new company registration.

Are you an insured business and do you guarantee your work?

As a CPA Australia practice, we are fully insured under the professional indemnity insurance. We guarantee that if a client provides all of their information to us then their work will be completed no longer than a week.

We have worked in the accounting profession for many years so we have long term relationship with clients and consistently served them well. We act openly and honestly with clients trying to save them money from many aspects. We will suggest ways to minimise tax, others costs, accounting fees, book keeping fees and so on.

Do you represent an entity in their dealings with the Commissioner of Taxation?

We are able to represent clients in their dealing with the Commissioner of Taxation in case that the clients are audited. We are able to prepare objection letter to inform the Commissioner in what respect clients consider a tax assessment to be incorrect. We can also apply private ruling requests in case of new or emerging tax related matters.
